This comment may not be appreciated, but I decided to write it anyway since I am in the same boat as those below me. I would appreciate a regular schedule instead of checking up on it every few days.

Suppose you want to make monthly releases like most other VNs. And you put in 5 hours of work every day for 23 or 24 days a month. You have about 115-120 hrs of work. You can assign categories like writing the VNs text, drawing background/sprite images, and then proof reading and fixing bugs. Then assign the number of hours to each. If you make sure youre always giving 75hrs of text time each month you can assume you will always get the same number of words coded in and ensuring readers have a consistent time reading each build. If you have the final text ready and chapters done you can average out the number of words per chapter and then assign working hours to get it done. If it is a longer chapter that is no big deal. You might be forced into using placeholder sprites and backgrounds but there will come a time to upload a smaller chapter (thats how averaging works) and the time you lost on images before can be made up now. As said, if you are done with the draft of the whole story and know what backgrounds/sprites you will need you can allot your remaining time in the month wisely so it ensures consistency with releases. Maybe you dont have 5 hours to spare every day but I am sure you can figure it out if your schedule is different. GL with it and sorry to assume you arent already very well organized.

The game is free and not a job. We can wait however long it takes, since the developer's real life always takes the priority. And the game is worth the wait.

Omg, don't even get me started on that pile of garbage, I wish there were another place where I could download the game instead of having to go through that itch.io page, but I guess I can deal with it since the game is definitely worth it

You're acting as if writing this VN is some sort of job, I'm fairly sure that the reason the writer decided to make this story was for fun. Implementing a schedule for a hobby project is totally unnecessary ESPECIALLY when it takes away from the fun of writing and adds pressure for no good reason.

It's a loose shirt, that's oviously not how his arm is shaped XD, it's just the shirt folding that way, it could also be shoulder pads

Yo, i recently found this VN from reddit, and already I'm in love with it XD, I love the character designs, the dialogue, the set design ( i guess it's how one would call it) is beautiful, and the plot which is very interesting.

No, that is the ending of build 2. Build 3 is the latest build. I would try redownloading the android build that you have.

I like the idea of the game and story so far is quite interesting, especially the worldbuilding aspects. That being said, I find it extremely jarring to see characters treat each other like old buddies despite meeting for the first time. Same goes with the general attitude and way of speaking for characters. It's hard to see medieval times people acting very casual, almost completely ignoring class, and not think something's off. I get it that for us to get to the meat of story we need the characters to interact and reveal details about themselves but I think that current pace doesn't really match the time window we've been given. I believe the problem could be easily fixed if they just had more time to spend together. Make it a time skip if you must.

I think the dialogue and pacing is great as it is, Lyall and Richter interactions make them seem like they just get along really well and genuinely enjoy each other company, and the development of their relationship (and mutual crush) feels believable. Even so imo randomly putting in timeskips won't solve anything

La VN es asombrosa, realmente tiene mucho potencial, muchas tramas a desarrollar y sus dos protagonistas, desde Lyall como Richter (MC) son personajes que desde un inicio tienen ya todo un trasfondo y no son personajes planos o en construcción, de verdad espero que el creador obtuvo mucho apoyo y que todos le den una oportunidad a esta VN !!


The VN is amazing, it really has a lot of potential, many plots to develop and its two protagonists Lyall as Richter (MC) are characters that from the beginning already have a whole background and are not flat or under construction characters, I really hope that the creator has a lot of support and that everyone give this VN a chance !!

hello just one issue so apparently lyre is not compatible with android 11, i can open it but it's stuck on main menu and i can't click anything, this also happens in some renpy vn like i.c.o, but most other vn i played is just doing fine in android 11 so i really don't understand what the issue here

it's not a big problem since for now i just play it in my other device, but i really love if you can fix this problem 

oh right im using samsung a30 android 11 btw, so idk if other android 11 do the same

is your phone android 11 since i think it's android 11 issue 😕 since in the past my phone samsung a30 is android 10, and i don't have this issue playing it, but when im updates it to android 11 it's become like what you describe

other renpy vn like ico is also become like this in android 11 but most vn is still playable thou so idk what the issue here that make some renpy vn unplayable in android 11🤔

i think it's because android 11 is blocking access to android files even users can't access it, and that's where game data usualy been saved so if the game needs to writes or read data from android file it's may become like what you described since the game can't access it

Can someone please explain how to download with Linux?

You download the file and you extract the contents, then you open the terminal and either drag the file named “ProjectLYRE.sh” from the extracted folder in it and press enter or navigate to the extracted folder in the terminal and launch the game by writing “./ProjectLYRE.sh” and pressing enter.

Try to follow these steps and tell me where you get stuck:

  1. Download the Linux version
  2. Extract the contents of the downloaded file to any folder you wish; you’ll now have a new folder named “ProjectLYRE-1.4-linux” inside which there should be a file named “ProjectLYRE.sh”
  3. Open a terminal
  4. Drag and drop the file named “ProjectLYRE.sh” into the terminal, then press enter

The game should start at this point

The 4th one. It's not wanting to drop into terminal when I drag the file into it. I'm doing it on Chromebook.

You should try to lauch the script directly from the terminal then. To do this, you need the terminal to “be in that directory”.

To do this you can, if your system lets you, right click inside the folder where the script is and select the option “Open in terminal”.

Otherwise you can navigate to that folder by typing “cd ‘pathofthefolder’” (you can get the exact path that I called pathofthefolder for example by right clicking the .sh script and in “Properties” look at the “Parent folder”; for example it may look something like “/home/desktop/ProjectLYRE-1.4-linux”).

Once your terminal is in the correct folder, you can type “./ProjectLYRE.sh” and press enter.

It should launch then.

Wonderful game and beautiful drawings, but there is only one that maybe isn't on the same level as the others and it is the one where Lyall is helping to dress the character (his arm isn't very proportioned). Sorry for my english, but it's a very well done vn

Can someone help me out for apple download? Whenever I try to download it, it just takes be to a white screen then sends me to the thanks for downloading screen but never downloads (I’m new to vn’s and started to do them on my computer but it just broke :/

The download was blocked somehow. This can be due to your browser's settings to block download pop ups or your anti virus getting suspicious and blocking it for you. Check online for how to disable download blockers from the automatic pop up blocker or the type of anti virus you use.

Nothing, I just had to re-upload it because of a glitch. It's still chapter 2. Chapter 3 will release on the 27th of June for Patrons and the 7th of July for the public.

I'm kinda confused, Is there not a windows version of this? No other download option works for me...
